Create your own upcycled plastic + alcohol ink earrings in this fun DIY workshop. Kristin of D. Prince Designs will demonstrate how to utilize several types of upcycled plastic and apply alcohol ink. First, participants will select plastic shapes cut from packaging and takeout containers. Then, we'll apply ink in the color palette of your choice and resin to seal the earring designs. Finally, we will create the earrings with gold plated earring hooks and jump rings. Take your gorgeous new earrings home to wear and enjoy!

Get back to your "roots" by creating your own beautiful leaf print in this class with summer camp vibes! Arborist and illustrator, Kristin of D. Prince Designs, will provide leaves from a variety of DC's iconic trees. After reviewing each tree and their unique characteristics, Kristin will demonstrate how to create these colorful leaf rubbing prints using pastels. You'll leave with a frameable 8x10 print to proudly display! (This class is great for adults and kids ages 8+ accompanied by an adult).
