How to Order

Purchase this listing, and then email Kristin at hi@dprincedesigns.com with the following:

1. A description of your requested invitation design or your idea, including font preferences if you have them.
2. Any reference photos and examples of invitation styles you like.
3. Your event colors, if you'd like them incorporated into the invitation design.
4. Your first, second, and third choice envelope colors. Kristin will be in touch if your first choice envelope color is not available.

Custom invitations typically take about 1-2 months from start (pencil sketch) to finish (prints and envelopes in-hand). You will have two opportunities to provide feedback. Kristin will reach out to you for feedback when the illustration is sketched in pencil before proceeding with ink, and once more with a first draft of the design provided as a digital file. You will have about 24-48 hours to provide feedback at these points in the process.

My illustration medium is pen-and-ink. Therefore, you will have an opportunity to provide feedback on the pencil sketch, but will not be able to request changes to color once the illustration is inked. If you have specific requests for this commission, please ensure you have sent them before booking or when providing feedback on the pencil sketch, so I can confirm that they can be accommodated. Timeline

Commissions are booked on a first-come, first-served basis. Kristin with D. Prince Designs is currently accepting commissions in this category for May 2025. The illustration will be completed in May; prints and envelopes will be ordered and shipped to you, along with the original illustration, by the end of the following month. If you have a commission request that is different from those described in the Commissions section of dprincedesigns.com, or is more detailed than the commissions shown, please email Kristin at hi@dprincedesigns.com to request a quote and timeline.
