Hand-Illustrated Custom Pet Portrait

Request a hand-illustrated custom pet portrait. Your commission will arrive in a cellophane sleeve with cardboard backing or framed if you add a frame to your order.

How to Order

Simply purchase this listing, and then email Kristin at hi@dprincedesigns.com with at least one reference photo of the pet to be illustrated. The reference photo should show your pet from the chest up, should have your pet looking towards the camera, and should be taken directly in front of the pet, rather than from above or below. At least one photo needs to meet this criteria; feel free to send additional photos as well as any specific requests for this pet portrait. Kristin will reach out to you for feedback when the illustration is sketched in pencil before proceeding with ink.

My illustration medium is pen-and-ink. Therefore, you will have an opportunity to provide feedback on the pencil sketch, but will not be able to request changes to color once the illustration is inked. If you have specific requests for this commission, please ensure you have sent them before booking this commission or when providing feedback on the pencil sketch, so I can confirm that they can be accommodated. Timeline

D. Prince Designs accepts up to 3 standard commissions per month, with guaranteed shipping or pick up in Washington, DC (if you prefer) by the end of the month.* Kristin with D. Prince Designs is currently accepting commissions that will be completed in February 2025.
